Before you jump head first into the dating arena, you might want to take a step back and sit down for some deep thinking. This is one of the most important dating tips for guys I can share with you.

I always recommend a quiet spot and a pen and paper to jot down your thoughts about what you truly want deep down inside from your dating life.

Here’s the first of many dating tips for guys I will share with you:

1. Determine what your goal is in the dating world.

* Are you looking for companionship, more of a friendship with a girl you can talk to or do things with?

*Are you a romantic? Do you love the idea of love and want to romance a woman?

* Do you honestly just want to get laid? (That’s okay, too.)

* Are you looking for a girlfriend? Do you want a short-term or long-term relationship with this girl?

* Do you want to play the field and date lots of women at the same time in a casual manner?

* Are you looking for your wife? Do you want to find the girl of your dreams and put a ring on her finger?

 

Sitting down and figuring this out before you ask even one woman on a date is one of my most important dating techniques for guys. If you aren’t clear on your goals there could be a lot of misunderstanding and hurt feelings on both ends.

Once you figure out your goal, you have to make sure your behavior while dating matches that, is consistent with that. For instance, if you want to casually date 10 women at a time, then you need to resist sending flowers and writing poetry to any of them. They will get the wrong idea. And being dishonest is the wrong way to get laid.

It only ends up biting you in the butt in the long run. That’s not following my dating tips for guys.

Keeping your goal in the forefront of your mind will help you avoid mistakes like this and will actually act as a honing beacon propelling you toward success.

When you sit down and determine your goal, do some soul searching and make sure you are being 100 percent honest with yourself. You might think it’s cool to sleep around like a porn star, but in your heart of hearts is that what you really want?

On the other hand, just because your sweet and loving mother wants to see you married before you turn 30, is not a reason to look for a wife. Someone else’s goal should not and cannot ultimately be your own goal. If you’re not ready, it doesn’t matter what dear mother wants, it will be a mistake and then your mother will be heartbroken even more so.

So remember one of the most important dating advise for guys and take some time and really think about what you want out of dating before you even one big toe into the dating arena. It will do your heart and soul good, not to mention saving you time, energy, and money.
